Owner John Vigliotti grew up three blocks from the original Peppino's Restaurant that has been operating since 1968. However, he didn’t set foot in the restaurant until he was 18 since no one in his family of Italian immigrants ate meals out or got their food delivered. Still 5 years after his first visit he bought Peppino's. That was a dream come true because Vigliotti liked the idea of making pizza since he was 8 years old. The rest is history. His innovative dishes, meticulous preparations, and devotion brought him numerous awards and accolades. At Peppino's the pizza dough is fermented for 3 days to create a pie that's easy to digest. And the selection is huge so you can choose from stuffed pizza, Sicilian pie, tomato pie, breakfast pizza, gourmet pies, Detroit pizzas, and more.
